About.

The Queens Foundation for Architecture is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been established to advance the learning and understanding in the field of architecture and the built environment through K-12 educational programs and scholarships.

Established in 2017

Former leaders, members and Architects of the Queens Chapter of the American Institute of Architects sought to create an organization that could help create, support and grow the number of Architecture scholarships and public programs in Queens

Our Goal

The organization’s programs seek to raise public awareness and foster the understanding of the design process; to encourage students and the public to be innovative, transform lives and create a better built environment; to pave the way for students to pursue careers in architecture and its related industries; and to strengthen partnerships with the public and communities.
The scholarship foundation provides financial support for post-secondary education as well as financial restitution during post-secondary education.
Thru its shared vision, the Queens Foundation for Architecture offers opportunities to participate in its mission through financial and volunteer support from others.
