FAQ | 2022-2023 College Essay Scholarship
1. Do applications need to be post-marked by the deadline?
All application materials must be RECEIVED electronically by Monday, April 24, 2023 by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
2. Is it possible to extend the deadline based on personal extenuating circumstances?
No. All applications must be received by the deadline to be considered and reviewed by the Selection Committee.
3. Can I hand-deliver my application?
No. All application materials MUST be submitted DIGITALLY to [email protected] by Monday, April 24, 2023 by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
4. I am currently a high school student seeking scholarships for an undergraduate degree in architecture. Am I eligible for the College Essay Scholarship program?
No. Only 3rd, 4th, and 5th year students in a NAAB-accredited undergraduate B.Arch architecture program are eligible. However, we have a High School scholarship program. Click Here to view more information.
5. I am in a Master of architecture program at a school in New York State. Am I eligible for the College Essay scholarship?
No, the College Essay Scholarship eligibility is only open to 3rd, 4th and 5th year students of a NAAB-accredited undergraduate B.Arch architecture program in the Tristate area. We are looking to expand our scholarship program, so please check in periodically for updates and provide feedback.
6. Is it possible to submit as a past recipient?
Yes, past recipients are eligible.
7. What is the schedule of award announcements?
Applicants will be notified by early-to-mid May.
8. Can applicants submit files more than 5 MB?
Yes however the maximum total of the package with all required documents must be 20MB or less.
